The Yellowknife Minor Hockey Association (the Association) is responsible for the organization, supervision and administration of amateur hockey in Yellowknife.

The Association is a member of Hockey NWT, Hockey North, and Hockey Canada which, collectively, are responsible for the welfare of amateur hockey in Canada and the Northwest Territories.

The Association is guided by its Bylaw, its Strategic Plan and its annual work plan.
